Fill the inlet hose completely with water.
Make sure the filter/check valve end is fully submerged at the bottom of the clean-water barrel or chemical tank.
Never let it suck air.
Connect the other end to the pump inlet.
To switch between water and chemicals—and to prevent air intake—we upgraded to a three-way valve.
One branch goes to the clean-water barrel, the other to the detergent tank.
The ground crew switches the valve to select the liquid source.
Connect the 220V ground pump to power. Connect the high-pressure tether hose to the pump outlet. Plug the quick connector into the drone’s rear inlet. Pull lightly to confirm it’s locked.
Start the pump. Let water flow through the 100 m hose and spray continuously for 30 seconds. When bubbles are gone and flow is stable, stop the pump.
The pump supports remote start/stop.
The pilot can control it directly on the controller—no need to rely on ground crew.
Recommendation: before takeoff, tap “Pump ON” to confirm water output, then “Pump OFF,” then take off.
