EP07: Flight Basics – Takeoff, Hovering & Emergency Procedures

Arm, take off, hover: Pull both sticks inward and downward (inward “V”) to arm the motors. Gently raise throttle and take off. Hover at 3 meters for a quick self-check. Confirm stable attitude and no hose tangling. Only then start working.

Stick controls:

Left stick:

  • Up: ascend
  • Down: descend
  • Left: yaw left
  • Right: yaw right

Right stick:

  • Up: forward
  • Down: backward
  • Left: slide left
  • Right: slide right

Note: When operating near the wall: small moves, slow speed

Return to Home (RTH): Use the Home button or the RTH icon. Before using RTH, make sure the path between the facade and the takeoff point is clear—no trees, wires, or obstacles.

Landing: Hold the left stick fully down until the drone touches down. Keep holding for 5+ seconds until props stop and the drone disarms—then release.

Flight mode switching: For cleaning, we recommend GPS mode ONLY. Only experienced pilots should switch altitude modes in extreme situations.

Signal loss: In cleaning mode, the default is hover to prevent the hose from dragging the drone into a collision. Only consider RTH/landing after confirming the airspace is clear.

Low battery: Two-stage warnings will trigger. Follow your work rhythm—swap batteries early. Don’t drain to the limit.

Emergency: For extreme cases like tangling or loss of control, use Emergency Stop. This immediately cuts lift. Make sure the area below is secured.
