Maintaining critical energy infrastructure is a mission with zero room for error. The Ningbo Beilun Power Plant, a major 3000MW facility, is a cornerstone of the East China Power Grid. Its massive plant buildings are constantly exposed to a harsh coastal and heavy industrial environment, leading to significant accumulation of corrosive saline deposits and grime on its unique architectural surfaces.

The challenge was to perform a large-scale, deep clean on a massive, semi-circular facade made of corrugated metal, without disrupting the plant’s critical 24/7 operations and ensuring the highest standards of safety.
