How Does A HV Transformer Work

A HV transformer works on the principle of electromagnetic induction, where a changing magnetic field induces a voltage across a set of coils. The transformer consists of two coils - the primary coil and the secondary coil. When an AC voltage is applied to the primary coil, it creates a changing magnetic field that induces a voltage in the secondary coil. The voltage induced in the secondary coil depends on the ratio of the number of turns in the primary and secondary coils.
