Oil immersed hermetically sealed type transformer is a new type of high-performance transformer with more reasonable structure and better performance. Its three-dimensional wound iron core has no air gap in its magnetic circuit, because its three core legs are three-dimensionally arranged in an equilateral triangle, the winding is tighter, and the three magnetic circuits have the same length and are all very short . The cross-sectional area of the core leg is closer to a circular shape, so the performance is further improved, the loss is reduced, the noise is reduced, the three-phase balance, and the third harmonic component is reduced. Oil-immersed transformers are suitable for power grid transformation of urban and rural, industrial and mining enterprises, and more suitable for combined transformers and prefabricated substation transformers.


Oil immersed hermetically sealed type transformer use oil as the main insulating means of the transformer and rely on oil as the cooling medium, such as oil-immersed self-cooling, oil-immersed air cooling, oil-immersed water cooling and forced oil circulation. The main components of the transformer are iron core, winding, oil tank, oil pillow, respirator, explosion-proof pipe (pressure relief valve), radiator, insulating sleeve, tap changer, gas relay, thermometer, oil purifier, etc. Between the silicon steel sheets of the oil-immersed transformer, due to the long-term immersion in the transformer, the oil can penetrate into it, and the transformer oil has an elastic buffering effect, so the noise of the oil-immersed transformer is small. However, the pressure regulating switch is inside the tank. When adjusting the pressure, the contacts of the switch are not visible from the outside. If the contact is bad, the circuit is broken. If the contact is poor, the switch is easy to burn when the load is too large.


Under the specified cooling conditions, the oil immersed hermetically sealed type transformer can operate as specified on the nameplate, but the top oil temperature should not exceed 90℃. Transformers can operate under normal overload and accident overload conditions, and overload signals should be installed. If the overload signal cannot be installed, it should be equipped with a comprehensive measuring instrument. The overload signal value of the oil-immersed transformer should be 1.1 to 1.2 times the rated current of the transformer. The overload signal value of the dry-type transformer should be 1.2 to 1.3 times the rated current of the transformer (the fan current when the fan is running). After the transformer overload signal is activated, attention should be paid to the change of its load and temperature, and the cause of the overload should be checked and checked in time if conditions permit. If the overload is high (more than 1.3 times the rated current) or the temperature exceeds the upper limit, the load should be reduced.
