What is the fault of dry type substation transformer noise

It is normal for dry-type transformers to have no noise during operation, but sometimes there is a lot of noise. Whether the transformer is faulty can be judged by sound. Generally speaking, dry-type transformers have a sound problem, which means a malfunction and must be repaired. A frequent problem with sounds while driving is a broken dry-type transformer. Lets take a look. Dry-type transformers are noisy. After the sound of the transformer becomes louder, there will be obvious noise, but if the current and voltage are normal, the vibration of the silicon steel plate may increase due to the loosening of the internal clamping and the action of the core screw.

The dry-type transformer emits a discharge sound. When partial discharge occurs inside and on the surface of the transformer, it will emit a sharp sound and emit a blue sound. In this case, if there is blue corona or sparks near the transformer socket at night or on rainy days, it means that the porcelain is seriously polluted and the pliers of the equipment line are bad. When the internal discharge of the transformer is the electrostatic discharge of the ungrounded part or the discharge of poor contact of the switch, the transformer should be further tested or stopped. The dry-type transformer makes the sound of boiling water. If the sound of the transformer is mixed with the sound of boiling water, the temperature changes quickly and the oil position rises. The transformer winding is short-circuited, the switch is in poor contact, and the inspection is stopped immediately when it is overheated. There is a rattling sound. When the sound of the transformer has an uneven crackling sound, it will cause damage to the internal or surface insulation of the transformer. Stop the transformer check immediately at this point.
