Risk assessment: Confirm permits and no-fly zones. Before operations, submit airspace requests to local authorities, and coordinate with property management for on-site order. Check weather—wind, rain, fog. Check building structure. Check GPS strength and whether RTK can reach a fixed solution. Confirm water and power availability on site.
We recommend operating within Beaufort 3 wind. For first-time pilots, start with mid-to-low height projects in open areas.
Site survey: Look at the facade material, the type and level of dirt first. Then choose the right nozzle angle, decide whether to use detergent/foam, and set the mixing ratio. Always do a small test area (2 m × 2 m) first.
Site setup: Use cones and caution tape to create a safety perimeter. Lay out the high-pressure hose in advance to prevent tangling or excessive friction during the job. The observer must see both the drone and the hose at all times. Ideally, use radios. Agree on clear callouts like: “Pump ready,” “Ready to take off,” “Switch to detergent,” “Prepare to land.”
