Adjustment Output Voltage Method Of Distribution Power Transformer
The stability of the voltage standard is an important indicator to measure the power quality. In the actual power consumption, due to the large power loss and the large peak-to-valley difference, the power consumption is low, and it is easy to cause the output voltage of the distribution power transformer to fluctuate. The fluctuation of power supply voltage from high to low has a great impact on the performance, production efficiency and product quality of various electrical equipment. In order to ensure the qualified rate of the power supply voltage, the output voltage of the transformer must be adjusted in time.
The general three-phase transformer is a three-speed or five-speed voltage regulating switch, which can be used to adjust the primary voltage of the transformer.
Distribution power transformer voltage regulation steps:
(1) Power failure. Disconnect the load on the low voltage side of the transformer, open the drop fuse on the high voltage side with an insulating rod, take necessary safety measures, unscrew the protective cover of the transformer tap changer, and set the positioning pin to the zero position.
(2) When adjusting the gear, adjust the tap changer to the corresponding position according to the output voltage: when the output value of the transformer is lower than the allowable value, adjust the tap changer from the first gear to the second gear, or from the second gear to the third gear . When the output value of the transformer is higher than the allowable value, adjust the tap changer from the third gear to the second gear, or from the second gear to the first gear.
After adjusting the gears, measure the DC resistance of each phase winding with a DC bridge to check whether the currents between the windings are balanced. If the difference between the resistance values of each phase is greater than 2%, it must be readjusted. Otherwise, the poor contact between the moving and static contacts after operation will cause heat and damage the distribution power transformer.
