In fact, there are many types and distribution transformer specifications. Transformers of different specifications have different meanings. Our commonly used transformer is a dry type transformer, the model is "SCB10-1000kVA / 10KV / 0.4kV". Use "S" to indicate that the dry-type transformer is a three-phase transformer, and use D instead of S to indicate a single-phase transformer. C indicates that the transformer winding is a solid resin cast, that is, a dry-type transformer. B is foil winding, if R is used instead of B, it is wire winding, if L is aluminum winding, if Z is on-load voltage regulation, if it is copper, it will not be marked. Ten is the design number, also known as the technical number. 1000KVA represents the rated capacity of the transformer (1000KVA). 10KV is the primary rated voltage, and 0.4kV is the secondary rated voltage.

Transformers can also be installed with phase splitters, single-phase transformers, and three-phase transformers.

The model of the power transformer commonly used in our daily life is usually composed of the symbols of phase number, cooling method, voltage regulation method, winding core and other materials, as well as the symbols of distribution transformer capacity, rated voltage and winding connection method. Take the "SFSZ9-31500/110" type power transformer as an example, S is three-phase, F is air-cooled, S is three windings, Z is on-load voltage regulation, and 9 is the design serial number 9. The rated capacity of 31500 is 31500kVA, 110 is the primary side rated voltage 110kV.

The rated capacity of the transformer of the same distribution transformer specifications is also different. The rated capacity of the transformer is calculated according to the R10 priority coefficient, that is, the 10th power multiple of 10, 50KVA, 80KVA, 100KVA, 125KVA, 160KVA, 200KVA, 250KVA, 315KVA, 400KVA, 500KVA, 630KVA, 800KVA, 1000KVA, 1250KVA, 1600KVA, 2000KVA , 2500KVA, 3150KVA, 4000KVA, 5000 kva and other power.
