C indicates that the transformer winding is a solid resin cast, that is, a dry-type transformer. B is foil winding, if R is used instead of B, it is wire winding, if L is aluminum winding, if Z is on-load voltage regulation, if it is copper, it will not be marked. Ten is the design number, also known as the technical number. 1000KVA represents the rated capacity of the transformer (1000KVA). 10KV is the primary rated voltage, and 0.4kV is the secondary rated voltage.

Take the "SFSZ9-31500/110" type power transformer as an example, S is three-phase, F is air-cooled, S is three windings, Z is on-load voltage regulation, and 9 is the design serial number 9. The rated capacity of 31500 is 31500kVA, 110 is the primary side rated voltage 110kV.
