Electric Power Substation Safety Inspection

Electric power substation, also known as prefabricated substation, is a factory prefabricated indoor and outdoor compact power distribution equipment, with general, transformer step-down, low-voltage power distribution performance. Installed in a moisture-proof, rust-proof, dust-proof, rat-proof, fire-proof, anti-theft, heat-insulating, fully enclosed, movable steel structure box. Because the box-type substation is operated with oil-free equipment, the problem of equipment leakage in traditional substations is completely solved. However, what safety hazards exist in the inspection process of electric power substation?

1. The box-type substation can prevent AC and DC low voltage electric shock. Before disconnecting the test power supply, the insulating cover of the test knife should be intact, and the power supply knife should be disconnected. The open circuit of the secondary circuit of the current transformer will cause electric shock, so the permanent connection of the current transformer circuit must not be disconnected. Use insulating equipment to measure the fuse and voltage of the secondary circuit of the transformer, and wear insulating gloves.

2. Precautions for electric shock in electric power substation: Check the name and number of the equipment before installation, understand the working place, and check the power supply. Cables and capacitors should be fully discharged phase by phase. Monitoring personnel should strengthen supervision.

3. Prevent accidental entry and boarding of live equipment. After pulling out the trolley switch of the high-voltage switch cabinet, the baffle blocking the live parts should be closed reliably. It is strictly forbidden for employees to open the shutters blocking live parts without authorization.
