Classification Of Container Substation
Container substation, prefabricated substation, referred to as box-type substation. This is a factory prefabricated indoor and outdoor compact power distribution equipment that integrates high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage power distribution devices according to a certain wiring scheme. It is used for safe, convenient and efficient electricity consumption, and gradually replaces civil substations. They are mainly divided into the following categories.
1. European container substation
In life, this European-style box-type substation is the most common box-type substation. In the industry, they are also called combined substations. They arrange high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage power distribution devices in three different compartments, which are electrically connected through cables and busbars.
At present, European-style box-type substations are the most widely used category of box-type substations. Among them, the 10kv State Grid standardized series box-type substation is one of the representative types in European box-type substations. There are also the most manufacturers of European-style box changers.
2. American container substation
The American box change is different from the European change in appearance. They protrude backward, but the volume is actually smaller than the European change. Meibian generally consists of transformers, 10kV ring network switch cabinets, cable plugs, low-voltage pile head boxes, etc. The beauty transformer is also known as the integrated box transformer. The advantages of the American-style box change are small size and easy installation. Basically, the box body is dark green, which is easier to coordinate with the environment such as the community.
3. Buried container substation
Buried box substation, also known as landscape subterranean subterranean substation, referred to as buried substation. In the box-type substation, its structure is similar to that of the European transformer. However, due to the need to "bury", some equipment needs to be optimized and upgraded. The buried box transformer occupies a smaller area or even does not occupy the ground land area, which effectively solves the problems of urban land shortage. Buried transformers are divided into half buried and fully buried. If they are half buried, advertisements can be placed on both sides of the box to play a role other than power distribution, which is often referred to as landscape box transformers.
4. Prefabricated cabin container substation, also known as prefabricated cabins, can be regarded as larger and more complex box-type substations. Looking at the appearance, it is the same as the container, which may be the origin of its name. The prefabricated cabin is a smart substation launched by State Grid based on the core concept of "standard distribution". It is composed of prefabricated boxes, secondary substation equipment, cabin auxiliary facilities, etc. It is manufactured, assembled, wired, debugged, etc. in the factory, and transported to the project site for installation.
5. Miniaturized container substation As the name suggests, one of the main selling points of this kind of box-type substation is miniaturization. This is a European-style box variant of the "pin font" layout. This new type of small box-type substation is very easy to use in the power transmission and transformation in the city's main roads, bustling streets and other places. Generally speaking, it covers an area of only 3 square meters, and its design style and heat dissipation performance are in place. Although the size is small, the performance is great. The more advanced electrical equipment layout and intelligent control unit are arranged in the box, which is very easy to operate and maintain.
