How Do Single Phase Transformers Work

Single phase transformers are a type of electrical transformer that are commonly used in household appliances, such as refrigerators, air conditioning units, and lighting systems. They work by converting high voltage electricity from the power grid into low voltage electricity that can be safely used in these appliances. The basic principle behind how single phase transformers work is based on the induction of electrical current. A single phase transformer consists of two coils of wire, known as primary and secondary coils.
