IP rating of cast coil dry type transformer

The IP of dry-type transformers has a certain degree of protection. The following are the protection levels and requirements of common dry-type transformers:

1. ip20 can prevent the entry of spherical foreign objects with a diameter greater than 12.5mm, and provide a safety barrier for the live part;

2, ip21 has the performance of ip20, and can prevent vertical water droplets from entering;

3. ip23 has the performance of ip20, and can prevent water from entering within a range of 60° from the vertical line;

4. IP30 can prevent the entry of spherical foreign bodies with a diameter greater than 2.5mm;

5, ip31 has the performance of ip30, and can prevent vertical water droplets from entering;

6. ip33 has the performance of ip30, and at the same time, it can prevent water from entering within a range of 60° from the vertical line;

7. IP40 can prevent linear objects with a diameter greater than 1mm from entering, and has a dust-proof effect.
