Classification Of Main Transformer
The main transformer is mainly a device that uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to change the AC voltage. The main components are the primary coil, the secondary coil and the iron core (core). The main functions include voltage conversion, current conversion, impedance conversion, isolation, voltage regulation (magnetic saturation transformer). In order to improve the understanding of transformers, transformer manufacturers share the classification of main transformer in this article.
(1) Power transformer
At present, the typical products running on the system are 1150KV, 1200MV, 735~765KV, 800MV, 400~500KV three-phase 750MV or single-phase 550MV. DC transmission 500KV, 400MV return transformer. Power transformers are mainly oil immersed, and the product structure has two types: deep type and shell. The core and the shell do not have an overwhelming advantage over each other, but the core is relatively simple and therefore adopted by most enterprises. The shell structure and process are more complicated, and only traditional factories use it. Shell has the advantages of high voltage, large capacity, insulation, machinery, and heat, and is suitable for transportation in mountain hydropower stations.
Power transformers are one of the main equipment in power plants and substations. The role of the transformer is not only to increase the voltage in multiple ways and send power to the electrical area, but also to reduce the voltage to the use voltage at all levels to meet the power demand. In short, main transformer manufacturers believe that both step-up and step-down must be completed with a transformer. In the process of power transmission in the power system, two losses of voltage and power will occur. When transmitting the same power, the voltage loss is inversely proportional to the voltage, and the power loss is inversely proportional to the square of the voltage. The use of transformers to increase the voltage reduces transmission losses.
(2) Distribution transformer
A distribution transformer is a static electrical device in a power distribution system, which is used to convert alternating voltage and current according to the law of electromagnetic induction to transmit alternating current. The capacity of foreign distribution transformers can reach 2500KV, and there are round and oval core forms. The circle is the vast majority, and the ellipse is M0 (the spacing of the iron core column) is small, so the material is reduced, and the corresponding coil is ellipse. The low-voltage coil consists of wire and foil, and the fuel tank has a heating tube (a few) and a wave type (most).
(3) Dry-type transformer
The dry-type transformer is mainly composed of an iron core composed of silicon steel sheets and an epoxy resin injected coil. An insulating cylinder is placed between the high and low voltage coils to increase electrical insulation. Has broadcast performance. Transformer manufacturers believe that there are four structures: injected epoxy, injected filler, wrapped and impregnated. Dry-type transformers are often used in places with high performance requirements such as fire protection and explosion-proof due to their strong short-circuit resistance, less maintenance, high operating efficiency, small size and low noise.
