Epoxy Transformer Winding Deformation

In the production of dry-type epoxy transformer, its internal structure is relatively complex. No matter which part fails, it will affect the stable operation of dry-type transformers. We need to monitor each component well. Among them, the deformation of the dry-type transformer winding is one of the important reasons for the damage of the dry-type transformer. So how can we judge whether the dry-type transformer winding is deformed?

There are three main ways to judge whether the dry-type epoxy transformer winding is deformed.

1) In order to correctly judge the deformation of the dry-type transformer, first measure the original data of the winding deformation when the dry-type transformer leaves the factory and installs, leaving a "fingerprint" for later comparison. The test items should be as complete as possible, such as short-circuit impedance value, special instrument and frequency response method.

2) After the winding short-circuit accident, in addition to measuring the deformation, some routine tests and special tests should be carried out, and a comprehensive analysis should be carried out in combination with the short-circuit current and the short-circuit time to judge the deformation of the dry-type transformer winding.

3) When judging the deformation of the dry-type transformer by the frequency response method, in addition to whether the frequency response characteristics of the three-phase windings are consistent, the correlation coefficient R value between the drawn three-phase waveforms should also be used. If the R value is greater than 1.0, it means that the deformation is not good. Obviously, the R value is less than 1.0, then attention should be paid.
