Oil-immersed transformer transportation method

Oil-immersed transformers can be transported in two ways: with oil and without oil, with oil being the first choice (transformer box is full of oil). Due to the limitation of roads and transportation equipment (vehicles), extra-large transformers can only drain the oil, fill the interior of the transformer shell with inert gas, and maintain positive pressure to prevent moisture from entering. Regardless of whether it is transported with or without oil, it is necessary to install the accessories after draining the oil at the site, and re-fill the oil after the accessories are installed. Therefore, the installation site must have an oil tank that can hold the transformer body oil.
