Features Of Dry Type Electrical Transformers
Dry type electrical transformers manufacturers believe that dry-type power transformers can avoid the danger of transformer oil fire and explosion caused by faults in operation. Since the insulating materials of dry-type transformers are all refractory materials, even if the transformer fails during operation, causing a fire or an external fire source, the fire will not expand. Dry-type power transformers do not have oil leakage problems like oil-immersed transformers, nor do they have problems such as transformer oil aging. Under normal circumstances, the operation, maintenance and repair workload of dry-type power transformers are greatly reduced, and even maintenance is free.
Dry type electrical transformers manufacturers believe that dry-type power transformers are generally indoor devices, and outdoor devices can be made for places with special requirements. They can be installed in the same room as the switchgear, reducing the installation area. The dry-type power transformer is oil-free, so it has few accessories, no oil conservator, safety air duct, a large number of valves, etc., and there is no sealing problem.
Dry type electrical transformers manufacturers believe that the installation and commissioning of dry-type transformers:
1. Open the package before installation. Check that the packaging is intact. Dry-type transformer manufacturers believe that after the transformer is unpacked, check whether the nameplate data of the transformer meets the design requirements, whether the factory documents are complete, whether the transformer is in good condition, whether there are signs of external damage, whether the parts are displaced or damaged, and whether the electrical support or connecting line is damaged. Check spare parts for damage or short circuits.
2. Install the transformer. First check the foundation of the transformer to see if the embedded steel plate is level, and there should be no voids under the steel plate, so as to ensure that the foundation of the transformer has good anti-vibration and sound-absorbing performance, otherwise the noise of the installed transformer will become louder. Then, use the roller to move the transformer to the installation position, remove the roller, and adjust the transformer to the design position exactly. The installation level error meets the design requirements. On the four corners of the transformer base, that is, the embedded steel plate, four short channel steels are welded, so that the position of the transformer will not move during use.
3. Transformer wiring. Dry-type transformer manufacturers believe that the minimum distance between charged bodies and between live bodies and the ground should be ensured during wiring, especially the distance from the cable to the high-voltage coil. The high-current and low-voltage busbars should be supported separately and cannot be directly pressed on the transformer terminals, which will cause excessive mechanical tension and torque. When the current is greater than 1,000 A, there must be a flexible connection between the busbar and the transformer terminals to compensate for the thermal expansion and contraction of the conductor and isolate the vibration of the busbar and the transformer.
4. Transformer is grounded. Dry-type transformer manufacturers believe that the grounding point of the transformer is on the base of the low-voltage side, and a special grounding bolt is drawn out, and the bolt is marked with a grounding sign. The earthing of the transformer must be reliably connected to the protective earthing system through this point. If there is a transformer casing, the casing should be reliably connected to the grounding system; if the low-voltage side adopts a three-phase four-wire system, the neutral wire should be reliably connected to the grounding system.
5. Check the transformer before operation. Check whether the fasteners are loose, whether the electrical connection is correct and reliable, whether the insulation distance between the charged bodies and between the live body and the ground meets the regulations, whether there are foreign objects near the transformer, and the surface of the coil should be cleaned.
