What are the main components of a power transformer?

The main components of a power transformer are windings, iron cores, oil tanks, bushings, transformer oil and cooling devices.

Because power transformers are often covered with thick iron armor, we can't see the inside of it. Originally, there were metal coils surrounded by dense turns under the armor. the coils (windings) are covered outside the iron core formed by lamination of silicon steel sheets (silicon steel sheets). In order to improve the heat dissipation conditions, these coils (windings) are all immersed in the cooling insulating oil.

Transformer oil is used to strengthen the internal insulation strength and heat dissipation of the transformer. The connection between each winding and the external circuit needs to be led out through an insulating sleeve.
